Young Tapz

There have been a lot of great artists emerging from New Zealand over the past few years. But a new star is starting to emerge, that artist is Young Tapz. Moving from Zimbabwe to New Zealand at the age of nine, music has always been a part of his life growing up. As he grew up, so did his passion for music and the arts. Ever since I first heard Tapz music I've been hooked! As with all artists I defiantly have my go to songs, but unlike most music I hear I can't say I dislike anything he has put out.

It's easy to put out music nowadays, but what's hard to find is an artist that is willing to take the necessary time to make sure that music is up to their highest standards. Too many artists want to get noticed as quickly as possible without putting in the work. It's nice to watch talented artists such as Young Tapz perfect his craft.

Nate DAE: Music Video "I'm Out"

I'm diggin this new Nate DAE music video for his song I'm Out! I've been in contact with Nate DAE for awhile now, over time we have both gained respect for each other. I'm always psyched to see and listen too what he has for me. Not a lot of people think of hip-hop when they hear Florida, but Nate is going to change that for you! When you listen to his music it's hard to believe that he is only 19. He raps with an intensity and sound that grabs you and immediately makes you want to hear what else he has to say. This new song is off his upcoming EP titled Off The Porch  which will be coming out in late October or early November. Either way I can't wait! Everything he sends me I'm mesmerized by and this video is no different. Check it out and be ready for Nate DAE to blow up!

Eryn Allen Kane: Slipping

Wow! I can't even describe the real words that come to mind, when I hear Eryn's voice. I could say amazing, breathtaking, enchanting, but anything I might describe is an understatement. It's not often when music can not only make you feel a certain way, but take you from this world. That is when music becomes more than just a sound. That is what Eryn Allen Kane's music does to a person, it's wonderful and scary at the same time. Check out her latest music video and be ready for your life to change once you hear her voice!

Coming from the land up north (Canada) Wasiu releases his new EP MTLiens. Wasiu lays down some killer lyrics to make this project one to defiantly check out. As my first introduction the artist I am very impressed and will be on the look out for what else he has up his sleeve. Take a listen below!

Martin $ky: Everywhere But Here

Martin $ky graces us with the release of his new EP Everywhere But Here. The project has some great features from Chicago natives Saba and Rockie Fresh along with Casey Veggies.

Straightface Forever: Sixteen

Sixteen is the first song from the rising Athens artist this year, and he holds nothing back. Straightface continues to craft and improve upon his unique sound with every new song. At almost 18,000 plays already on soundcloud he is finally starting to get the attention he deserves. This is an impressive start to the new year for Straightface especially since Sixteen is an unconventional (but fitting) first song release. There is a growing fanbase that is anxiously waiting to hear what is next to come from this talented and unique artist.
